Our Lil' Snuggles Weighted Blanket is made to help those in need of a good sleep! Weighted blankets are recommended by various professionals as a tool for helping to alleviate anxiety, help with insomnia as well as other factors that can prevent a good night's sleep. Weighted blankets can be very soothing!
Our blankets are lined with evenly distributed weight from high-density glass beads. The weight varies based on who the intended user is and size of the blanket. This special type of blanket is designed to be warm and to provide gentle pressure to a person, mimicking the feeling of being held.
Our weighted blankets can weigh anywhere from five to twenty pounds. The rule of thumb for choosing weight is for it to be 10 percent of the user's body weight, plus a pound or two. So for an 80-pound child, the blanket should be 10 pounds. Please note that as every person is different their preference for weight may be different.
